:: National Sports Organization (N.S.O.)
The Department of Physical Education is equipped with all indoor and outdoor facilities for all the staff and students (both Men and Women) to take part in individual and group activities of different nature and to encourage the students' participation to greater extents.
Our Students are regularly selected as members of University teams in various disciplines and Inter - University tournaments. The students are encouraged to take part in various events and provided with all necessary playing equipments.

:: National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)
As per Anna University regulations for personality / Character Development Programme, until the current year we have been carrying out YRC Programme. Anna University conveyed approval of vice - chancellor for allotting one NSS unit in our college during the year 2004-2005. (Vide Anna University Letter Ref. No. AU/NSS/DT17/2004-2005 dt. 15.10.2004)
Activities like Road Safety, Yoga and Meditation classes, Planting of the saplings, Conducting eye camps, Yoga & Meditation camp, Career Guidance programme, Campus Cleaning programme, Traffic Awareness programme, Blood donation camp and Polio & AIDS Awareness programme are undertaken. Ten days camp in rural village is a Major NSS activity.

:: Youth Red Cross (Y.R.C.)
As per Anna University regulations for Personality / Character Development programme, an YRC unit was started in the academic year 2003 - 2004. During the academic year 2004 - 2005, 67 students of I year have enrolled for YRC. The annual membership subscription fee in full and the registration fee for the year 2004 - 2005 have been remitted to the Indian Red Cross Society, Tamilnadu Branch.
Activities like testing of Blood Group, Guiding villagers in general hospital, Demonstration on fire fighting and source operations, Blood Donation programme and Free Medical Camp are proposed to be undertaken in future.

:: R.R.C
The Anna University is emphasizing the need for starting Personality Development Programme for the students and the university has formulated regulations for the same. Accordingly an RRC unit was started in our colege from the academic year 2006-2007. During the year about 60 students have enrolled in RRC. The details of membership and registration have been submitted to the TANSAC, Tamilnadu.
Under the auspices of this RRC group discussions were conducted to chart out the activities like blood donation camps, free medical camps in the rural areas and to create awareness among the people about the dangerous evil diseases like AIDS etc and also about public health by keeping the surroundings neat so as to eradicate the mosquitoes.

Programs, Guest Lectures and Seminars are arranged under the staff and student chapters of Computer Society of India, Indian Society for Technical Education and IEEE. |

Personality Development Programmes are regularly conducted for the enhancement of Student Skills, Technical Skill, Aptitude Development, Language Skills, Leadership skill and management skill.
