- Our Library has an open
access System.
- Books are issued to the students and staff with Bar – Coding System in the UG Library

:: Rules and Regulations
- All Students, teaching
staff and teaching assistants are members of the
Library
- All Members must bring
their Identity cards issued by the college while
using the Library.
- While entering the
Library every member shall keep his / her
belongings at the counter.
- While entering the
Library every member must sign in the Gate
register kept for this purpose.
- Students shall return
all their Library Books at the end of the
University Examinations.
- If any borrowed book is
found missing, the concerned member must inform
the Librarian immediately.
- When a member leaves the
college he / she shall return all the books
issued to him / her.
- Books must be returned on or before the due date noted in the date slip. If the day happens to be a holiday, the book must be returned on the next working day. Fines are levied if books are not returned on or before the due dates.

Rules and
Regulations
- All students and MCA
faculty members are members of the PG library.
- Every member must sign the
gate register while entering the library.
- All members must bring
their identity cards issued by the college while
using the PG library and a member must use
his/her I.D. card only.
- Student must produce their
identity cards for every transaction.
- Personal books, files and
other articles/materials (except a small
notebook or loose sheets of papers) are not
allowed inside the library. Members have to
deposit their personal belongings at the
Property Counter near the entrance.
- Silence should be observed
strictly inside the library.
- Using of Cell Phones inside the
library is prohibited.
- Bags,
Big handbags, Raincoat, Jerkin and Casual
wears
are strictly prohibited inside the
library.
- A member shall be
responsible for any damage done by him/her to
the books or other college properties. He/she
will be required to replace the book or other
damaged property.
- Any marking or writing inside the
books by the members is strictly prohibited. If
any damage/marking is found, the member should
replace the book.
- Not
withstanding anything contained in these rules,
the decision of the authorities of the college
in all matters shall be final.
Book Issuing
System
- Library has an open access
system.
- Books are issued to the
students and staff with bar coding system
- OPAC System Available for
Book Availability other searching purposes.
- Students are allowed to take TEN books in P.G. library only.
- Books will be issued to
student members for a period of 15 days only
- Books will be issued to
faculty members for a period of 90 days.
- Reference
Books, Encyclopedias, Hand Books, Dictionaries,
Periodicals, Student Project Reports and Back
Volumes will not be issued and they are only
for reference
- Two renewals will be
permitted if there are no reservations against
these books. For renewal, books have to be
presented physically at the library counter.
- Members, before leaving the counter must
satisfy themselves as to whether the books,
which they intend to borrow, are in good
condition and any damage/marking should be
immediately reported to the Librarian failing
which the member to whom the book was issued
will be held responsible.
Book Returning
System
- Final year students must
return the books before the issue of their
examination hall tickets.
- Other students shall
surrender all their books at the end of the
theory examination and before the commencement
of their practical examination.
- When a member leaves the
college he/she shall return all the books.
- Books must be returned on
or before the due date noted in the due date
slip. If the day happens to be a holiday, the
book must be returned on the next working day.
If any student keeps any book beyond the due
date of return, otherwise Overdue charges will
be collected as per the existing rules.
- Loss of books, if any,
should be reported to the library immediately
and it should be replaced with a new copy along
with a levy of overdue charges if any.
- In case the borrower is
unable to replace the books that are lost, he
will be levied a penalty as per the existing
rules plus overdue charges, if any.
- Absence from the college will not be
allowed as an excuse for the delay in the return
of books.

Automation
The
library is provided with library automation
system with four computers in a network under
client-server architecture. Multi-user
software(Fusion Education, Developed by ITSG,
KLNCIT) for library automation is available for
issue, return, searching, administration, and
reference facility for all the users.
E-Library Facilities
Institutional member subscription for ACM
Digital Library is available in the PG Library
with 12 computers which students and staff can
access and download research articles and papers
for free anywhere within the campus. ACM Digital
Library contains 480 Titles of various
international journals, magazines, transaction,
proceedings, newsletters, publications by
affiliated organizations, special interest
groups and ACM oral history interviews.
