The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2001 with the vision of developing the department as a Centre of Excellence in R&D, in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and make the students blossom into meritorious and self-disciplined engineers by hard work.

The Department started the PG program in Digital Communication and Networking in the year 2012 with the total intake of 18 students. Later in 2013 the course was renamed as Communication and Networking.

To improve the teaching learning process, the Department consistently organizes faculty development programmes and workshops for the faculty researchers and students. As part of research, our students are encouraged to carry out their projects in recent research fields across various areas of Electronics and Communication. As a part of the curriculum they also publish their work in National and International Conferences and Journals.

To develop the Department as a Centre of Excellence in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and ambit for Research & Development activities. To render services to meet the growing global challenges of Engineering Industries and Organizations by educating students to become exemplary Professionals of high ethics.

• To develop innovative technical exposure and inculcate creative thinking among Staff and Students towards research in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• To impart effective technical education theoretically and practically through our dedicated staff to mould professionally competent and society responsible electronic engineers.
• To build a team of competent teachers surviving for excellence in teaching or research and to provide collaborate with leading organization in India and abroad.
