| Communication Skills Laboratory is introduced for III year students. It comprises of English lab and Career lab. The expenses met for the installation of Language Lab is about Rs. 25 Lakhs. The software supplied by Globerana company is installed in our Language Lab. The Language Lab comprises of 35 systems. The syllabus for Language Lab is based on Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension and Vocabulary. The Career Lab is based on paper presentation, Group Discussion and Resume preparation. Communication Skills Laboratory will prepare students to adapt themselves with ease to the industry environment. The course will equip the students with the necessary communication skills that would go a long way in helping them in their profession. The syllabus is based on the objective to equip students of engineering and technology with effective speaking and listening skills in English. It helps them develop their soft skills and people skills, which enable the transition from college to workplace smoother and help them to excel in their jobs. This enhances students' performance at Placement Interviews, Group Discussions and other recruitment exercises. Learning language skills through this computer based Language Lab is interesting to the students.
