:: Misson

  • To achieve 50% of graduation initially & additional 5 % in steps in every year.
  • To motivate the students to present minimum of 5 papers in each class per year combined in symposia / National conference and to staff to present at least 5 papers for the whole department inclusive of international conference & journals.
  • To arrange one guest lecture / seminar for each class per year.
  • To encourage the students to attend in plant training
  • To arrange one industrial visit per year for each class per semester.
  • To conduct one FDP and depute staff members to attend at least one FDP outside per year.
  • To achieve 25 % of placement in the forthcoming year.
  • To conduct either one national level technical symposium or national conference.
  • Inventory of books in Department library shall be enhanced at the rate of 50books per annum.


:: Career Prospects

  • Preparation:
    To prepare our students to excel in UG program and to succeed in industry / technical profession through global, rigorous education. For achieving this 5 cycle tests are being conducted in each semester so that the students can be made abreast of knowledge and technical expertise. Students are made to familiarize themselves by conducting various experiments in the relevant laboratories. At the end of each semester we are conducting model practical exam, IIT, GATE exam training.
  • Core competence:
    Our staff members are competent enough to impart students with a solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamental required to solve engineering problems, and also to pursue higher studies. Periodical performance appraisal of staff members has been done for taking remedial measure to improve the teaching methodology and also to enhance the teaching-learning. In support of which necessary feed back from the students about the staff members is also obtained.
  • Breadth:
    Necessary measures like open house exhibition where in the students are motivated to have good scientific and engineering breadth, so as to comprehend, analyze, design and create novel product and solutions for real life problems. This is being carried out once in a year apart from regular project work in the regular curriculum.
  • Professionalism:
    Profession and ethical attitude and effective communication skills are provided to the students in their regular curriculum itself. Team work skills are developed by their involvement in student’s association activities covering symposium, seminar, and paper presentation. Guest lectures are also arranged to be delivered not only by academic experts and experts from industry.
