Dr. J.S.Gnanasekaran, received his B.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1989 through Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai under Madurai Kamaraj University and M.E Degree in Industrial Engineering through the same institution and University in 1997.  He has obtained his Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, through Government College of Technology, Coimbatore in 2008.

          He has 22years of teaching experience to UG and PG classes and has guided many B.E. and ME projects. He has some industrial experience in his career. Presently he is guiding three PhD scholars and he is a research paper reviewer in Journals and conferences in National and International levels. His research interests are Manufacturing optimization, Concurrent Engineering, Product Design, Mathematical Modeling and Algorithm Development. He has published 24 papers in Journals and conferences in National and International levels. He has received AICTE grands for abourt 35 lakhs as on date.

          He is a Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education and International Association of Engineers, Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkatta. He is a recognized research supervisor of Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore and Anna University of Technology Madurai. He has been Secretary cum Treasurer of ISTE Chapters for about 14 years and organized many programmes under this.

          In May 2010, he joined in the present institution as Vice Principal position and there after he assumed charge as Principal of K.L.N.College of Information Technology with effect from 15th April 2011.
